Muay Thai originated 5000 years ago! Unfortunately so many fights are staged in Thailand for tourists to watch, more of a sparing session between friends, as this fight shows! Pattaya is full of these show's.

Air traffic controllers had warned the Indonesian pilot of dangerous conditions as the plane carrying 130 passengers and crew came in to land in heavy rain Sunday. A total of 88 people died after Flight OG 269 crashed on landing at the Thai resort of Phuket. At least 89 people, including up to 55 foreigners, perished when a plane operated by budget carrier One-Two-Go veered off a runway during a fierce monsoon storm on the resort island of Phuket.
